"Tendril Tangle" is a One of a kind necklace set with a large labradorite and three Opalite cabochons set in sterling silver with a black antiqued finish.
Part of the Tendrils and teardrops collection - Plant themed one off pieces in antiqued or blackened silver with an organic theme set with unusual specimen stones. Each piece is individually designed and hand built around the shape and qualities of the one off stone.
This stone showed its colour best sitting upright. it has a dark blue flash and a tiny touch of green at the bottom.
A really unique statement piece with winding tendrils and black pearl berries.
The pendant part is appx 14cm wide and has a 5.5cm drop Can be worn at 16" or 18". the focal stone is appx 3.8cm x 1.7cm and the Opalite are 6mm.
Opalite is a manmade stone it is a type of glass similar to venetian glass made with metal oxides to give it the lustrous sheen. Made famous by artists like Rene Lalique.
Hallmarking - all my silver work pieces have been hallmarked at the Edinburgh assay office and have my Roche Designs makers mark.
