'Birdie' is a one of a kind pendant made in black antiqued sterling silver with a very unusual Labradorite stone.
Part of the Tendrils and teardrops collection - Plant themed one off pieces in antiqued or blackened silver with an organic theme set with unusual specimen stones. Each piece is individually designed and hand built around the shape and qualities of the one off stone.
This stone has flashes of pale green, dark blue and gold. The shape and pattern of this stone reminded me of a little stylised bird looking up to the sky. So in its own way it told me what it needed to be. I added a little leg to stand on and some tufts on the back. It's very subtle so it is only a 'Birdie' if you see it too.
The pendant is appx 6.5cm long from the top of the bail and can be purchased on its own or choose to add a chain.
Shown on an antiqued belcher chain in 16" or 18".
Hallmarking - all my silver work pieces have been hallmarked at the Edinburgh assay office and have my Roche Designs makers mark.
